Wind Power Tower Flange

Five essential features of this product

1. Long-term anti-corrosion life must be ≥ 25 years, long-term anti-corrosion and coating life. Because offshore or coastal wind power faces salt spray corrosion, inland wind power needs to be resistant to wind and sand wear, so it must continue to have good anti-corrosion. 2. The full size must be 100% intact, because internal defects will expand into cracks under alternating loads.

3. Certification and traceability must be maintained. Products in special industries require product guarantees, so strong certification is required. Longan provides material certificates: 1. Fatigue test report: issued by DNV-GL/TÜV and other institutions 2. Factory certification: ISO 14001 (environment) 3. Non-destructive testing report: UT/MT/RT full coverage 4. Project resume: Operation record of products of the same specification in wind farms (such as 5 years without failure)

4. It needs to have strong extreme low temperature toughness, because wind farms are mostly located in high cold, coastal or offshore working conditions of -40°C are common), and flanges must resist brittle fracture at low temperatures.

The low temperature test of Longan's wind turbine tower flange is ≥ 40J for a single specimen, and the average is ≥ 50J, which is much higher than the 27J requirement for ordinary flanges.

5. The geometric accuracy and flatness need to be very precise. The flange joint surface is more than 10 meters long. The flatness error will cause uneven bolt preload, causing micro-wear and fatigue. Longan flange flatness: ≤ 0.05 mm/m Flange end face verticality: ≤ 0.04 mm/100 mm. Bolt hole position: adjacent hole spacing error ≤ ±0.2 mm, cumulative error ≤ ±0.6 mm/10 holes. Flange end face verticality: ≤ 0.05 mm/100 mm.
